At least $75,000 worth of illegal drugs are off the street in rural Lincoln County, near Stroud. State agents seized about 50 marijuana plants from property behind a home near Tryon.

Agents spotted the marijuana while flying over the county. David Ray Price, 47, was arrested for marijuana cultivation.

"This probably wasn't his first patch and had we not arrested him, this probably wouldn't have been his last patch," said Mark Woodward, Oklahoma Bureau Narcotics.

Authorities also seized 30 handguns and 20 rifles from the house.

Agents say they will continue the crackdown throughout the fall until the first freeze, which usually destroys any existing marijuana plants.
