TULSA, OK -- Construction workers at Tulsa's Mayo Hotel are trying to get rid of an uninvited guest.

"I think he's lived well in our building for we don't know how long, probably a week or two," said construction manager Paul Rose.

A large great horned owl has made itself comfortable in the hotel's old ballroom on the 16th floor.  Construction crews are revamping the ballroom and called in the Skunk Whisperer to get rid of the giant bird without hurting it.  The Skunk Whisperer set up an ultrasonic sound machine and a recording of a hawk to drive the owl out.

It seems the owl had found a nice hunting post in the old hotel.

"He's up there munching on pigeons and rats and mice or whatever wildlife he can see from his bird's eye view from up on top," said Ned Bruha, Skunk Whisperer.

They say the owl may already be gone.  The key now is to keep it out.
