OWASSO, OK -- An Owasso choir teacher charged on Tuesday with sexual battery of a student was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on Tuesday night.
Doug Woolery was the director of the Owasso High School Performing Arts Center and taught choir.
Owasso Police say Woolery inappropriately touched a 16-year-old boy while on a choir trip. The student told his parents, who called the school. Records show Woolery admitted to the crime.
Woolery has been suspended by the school district.
