TULSA, OK -- A fire broke out at the Same Day Computer Repair store in Tulsa. Firefighters with the Tulsa Fire Department responded to the fire shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Sunday at 2176 South Sheridan Road. This is at the south end of the Alameda Shopping Center.

Captain Michael Baker, Public Information Officer with the Tulsa Fire Department, said crews had to force their way through metal doors and security bars to reach the fire.

Baker said firefighters were then able to quickly extinguish the fire. Baker said the fire was under control within 20 minutes.

Damage was contained to the back room of the computer service shop. However, several adjacent businesses received smoke damage.

There were no injuries reported. Damage is estimated at $30,000.
