TULSA, OK -- A teenage motorcyclist dies in a Monday afternoon crash.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the 18-year-old was following a semi that was eastbound on 61^st Street, attempted to turn right onto 43^rd West Avenue.

"Motorcyclist got in a hurry, thought he was gonna past the semi on the inside where there was no shoulder. Semi had nowhere to go," said Oklahoma Highway Patrol Lt. George Brown.

The wreck happened around 2 p.m. near the Turner Turnpike Gate.
