TULSA, OK -- An Oklahoma soldier returns home for some R and R. Army Sergeant Jackie Smith, Junior, returned to Sooner soil after serving 15 months in Iraq.

There were lots of hugs from family and friends as the soldier returned. His cousin even made a welcome home sign. Sgt. Smith says he doesn't have any firm plans for his time off.

"I don't know. Probably just hang out with some friends and go fishing," said Sgt. Jackie Smith, Junior.

Smith lives in Chouteau. He'll be home for 30 days.
