Tulsa Man Stabbed After Fight With Roommate

TULSA, OK -- A man is stabbed after an argument with his roommate.  It happened shortly before 6 a.m. near 10th and South St. Louis

Tulsa Police say two roommates had been drinking  and smoking crack throughout the night and started arguing. 

The suspect, 53-year-old Richard Alan Mayne, called 911 and stated that he had stabbed his roommate.

When officers arrived they found the victim, 35-year-old Michael Cypert, lying on the floor with a stab wound to the stomach. He was transported to a Tulsa hospital.

When officers attempted to take Mayne into custody he resisted, but was eventually arrested. He was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on complaints of assault with a dangerous weapon and resisting arrest.
