TULSA, OK -- The Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame says its upcoming attraction is not to be missed.

Eldar, a Grammy-nominated jazz pianist, is performing in Tulsa on Sunday.

He learned to play when he was 5 and is guaranteed to razzle-dazzle the audience.

On Wednesday morning, the Jazz Hall of Fame announced Tulsa native Washington Rucker is coming back Friday.

Rucker is an international jazz and gospel drummer who recently wrote a book about his life. He will sign autographs and perform.

"We're just trying to kick it up a notch, as Emeril Lagasse would say, and really bring something fresh and new and exciting to Tulsa that will kick us off for our summer concert series and our JazzFest on June 27 as well," said Chuck Cissel, CEO of the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame.

The Eldar concert with the TU Jazz Band is 7 p.m. Sunday, and the free Rucker event is 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Both events will be at the Jazz Depot, 111 E. First St., upper level. For more information call (918) 281-8600.
