Tulsa Power Restored Following Outage

TULSA, OK -- The lights are back on after a big power outage Wednesday evening in south Tulsa.

PSO spokesman Ed Bettinger says a transmission line feeding a substation failed shortly after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The outage impacted about 21,000 customers from 61st to 91st Streets and from Riverside to Sheridan.

It took utility crews about an hour and a half to get all the power restored.
