UNDATED -- The City of Muskogee is looking for help to pay for a new sewer line.  The city wants nearly $300,000 in stimulus money to replace the 100-year-old Coody Creek sewer line.

The project will cost more than a million dollars with the other 80% of the funding coming from a loan.

It's the first stimulus money Muskogee has applied for, but the city manager says they could ask for more in the future.

Meanwhile, more stimulus money comes to Oklahoma from the Department of Defense.  The DOD is giving more than $6 million to the McAlester Army Ammunition plant for repairs.

And, Fort Sill is getting more than $59 million for improvements.  In all, the Defense Department is providing $835 million for projects in 37 states.
