TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa father convicted in a deadly case of child abuse gets a new sentence.
On Wednesday, a judge ordered Carlis Ball to spend life in prison without parole plus 25 years for the 2005 scalding death of his 2-year-old son Keenan Taylor.
Ball was sentenced to two life terms in 2006, but an appeals court said he should receive a new sentence because the jury wasn't given clear instructions in the case.
