TULSA, OK -- Central High School in Tulsa has a proud history.  We know that because a graduate of Central is keeping track of it.  A retired librarian has organized the Central High School archives into a useful tool for graduates and Tulsa historians.

"I've always liked re-organizing things," said Marilyn Loucks.

Marilyn Loucks is a retired librarian who has found a sort of heaven on earth:  a disorganized mess that was the archive room at Central High School.

"These were Tulsa School Life and were published every Friday," said Marilyn Loucks.

She has everything in order and in its proper place, like a librarian would.  She has organized school newspapers, yearbooks and folders full of leaflets and programs of school year events.

She's found class pictures, reunion photographs and bits and pieces of Central High history.

There's a spirit drum and headdress from pep rallies gone by.  There are all kinds of stuff.  Much of it she has yet to look through, but her senior picture was found in a 1963 yearbook.

There are many years for which there are multiple copies of the Tom Tom, the yearbook.  Those extras are for sale and could be great gifts for graduates who have lost theirs.
