Tulsa Police Find Burglary Suspect With Pepper Spray

TULSA, OK -- Police capture a burglar hiding in the ceiling of a Tulsa convenience store early Thursday.

Police officers were called to Bills Quick Stop near 52nd and Peoria at 2:22 a.m.

Officers say the 54-year old Ishmael Simon entered through a store next door. He punched a hole through the wall, which tripped the alarm.

Police officers found Simon hiding in the ceiling of the convenience store after using a pepper spray device in the store.

Ishmael Simon was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of second degree burglary.
