Dog Helps Alert Tulsa Homeowner Of Fire

TULSA, OK -- Crews with the Tulsa Fire Department are investigating a house fire that broke out early Saturday morning.

The fire happened in the 6700 block of East 9th Street.

Firefighters say the homeowner was alerted of the fire after his neighbor woke him up. The neighbor woke up and saw the fire only after his dog woke him up.

No one was injured in the fire.

Crews are still investigating, but think the fire may have started in the attic because of an electrical line.
