Puppy Mill Bill Dies In Committee

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- A bill aimed at cracking down on puppy mills dies in a Senate budget committee. Several members of the panel refused to sign the bill out of the committee.
They claim it didn't give the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture the tools needed to crack down on shady breeders.
The measure is now dead for the session, but its sponsor says he'll try a procedural move to keep it alive for consideration next year.
