BROKEN ARROW, OK -- Law enforcement agencies statewide are teaming up to make sure you're summer is a safe one.

They're reminding everyone to buckle up and slow down on the highways, especially this holiday weekend and to keep a close eye on the kids anytime they're around water.

There's also some advice for the adults.

"If you do decide to drink out on the boat have a designated driver and wear your life jacket," said Amanda Peters with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Police and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol will be out in full force to watch for speeders and drunk drivers.
