TULSA, OK -- A dump truck driver said another vehicle forced him to take evasive, causing his truck to roll over onto its side in the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 75 just north of I-44 Wednesday morning.

Tulsa Police said the accident happened at about 8:40 a.m., backing up traffic in both directions for over an hour.

The driver of the truck told police officers he had to swerve when a driver in front of him made an illegal lane change.

The accident caused a major leak of diesel fuel from the dump truck.  The Tulsa Fire Department spent more than an hour on the scene cleaning up the spill.

Police say the driver of the truck was hurt and had to be taken to a Tulsa hospital.
