Hunt Continues For Convicted Robber

The search is on for a robbery defendant who vanished during a lunch break from Tulsa County District Court on Tuesday.

TULSA, OK - The search is on for a robbery defendant who vanished during a lunch break from Tulsa County District Court on Tuesday.

Tulsa County Assistant District Attorney Scott Gengras says 37-year-old John Wesley Revard was free on bond when he walked out of the courtroom. But, when jury selection resumed, Revard was missing.

The judge in the case ordered that the trial continue without the defendant. The jury found Revard guilty of the charges against him and recommended a 40 year sentence. Bond for Revard was revoked and a warrant for his arrest was issued.
