OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- Oklahoma's Attorney General Drew Edmondson has scheduled three news conferences across the state on Wednesday to discuss his future political plans.

Speculation is Edmondson will announce a run for the Democratic nomination for Governor in 2010.

Current governor, Brad Henry has served two terms. He is barred by state law to run for a third term.

Right now, only three people have announced they are running for governor. Lt. Governor Jari Askins, a Democrat, has announced her intention of running. On the Republican side, U.S. congresswoman Mary Fallin of Oklahoma City and state Senator Randy Brogdon of Owasso have also announced.

At 2 p.m., Edmondson will speak at the Tulsa Press Club in downtown Tulsa and then at 4:30 p.m. Edmondson will hold a news conference on the first floor of the Muskogee County Courthouse.

NewsOn6.com will live stream Drew Edmondson's first news conference Wednesday morning in Oklahoma City.
