TULSA, OK -- The Tulsa Fire Department says an industrial accident involving a hydraulic lift killed a man Friday morning.
Tulsa Police told The News On 6 Friday afternoon that they're not releasing the victim's name because they're not satisfied they've confirmed his identity.
EMSA says its paramedics arrived on scene to find a patient trapped under the lift at Superior Linen Service located at 5th and Rockford.
Tulsa firefighters worked to free the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The fire department says a crew was doing maintenance on the hydraulic lift, which involved changing the fluid.
The department says the lift was supported in the raised the position, but somehow collapsed and fell on the worker.
