Dual-Threat QB Verbally Commits To TU

TULSA, OK -- Dual-threat quarterback Kalen Henderson of East St. John High School in LaPlace, Louisiana has verbally committed to the University of Tulsa, according to Rivals.com.

He is a former teammate of running back Alex Singleton, who will join the Golden Hurricane this fall.

Henderson was recruited by TU assistant coach Mike Norvell and was recently on campus to attend a summer camp.

Rivals.com lists Henderson at 6-foot-2, 190 lbs and reports a forty yard dash time of 4.65 seconds. He had also been recruited by Mississippi State, New Mexico, Utah, Louisiana-Monroe and TCU.
