REPORT: Area Near Cotton Bowl Dangerous

UNDATED - A consumer finance website releases a report that says portions of south Dallas is among the nation's most dangerous neighborhoods.

The report from Walletpop.com ranked the 25 most dangerous neighborhoods in the United States.  It found that a part of south Dallas is twice as dangerous in terms of the likelihood of a resident becoming a crime victim.  The website ranks the area near 2^nd Avenue and Hatcher Street as number 12.  The neighborhood near Scyene Road came in at number 9.

Some question why the website ranked the neighborhoods separately since they share a common zip code and both 2^nd Avenue and Hatcher Street intersect with Scyene Road.

The neighborhoods are located adjacent to the Cotton Bowl.
