TULSA, OK -- Summer time dirt and grime is harder to wash out. At least that's what most parents think when dealing with their children's baseball pants. Of course, there might be some magic that can help at Drillers Stadium.
Sam Salabura is the Home Clubbie for the Drillers. After a game he sorts the uniforms into dirty and really dirty. The really dirty uniforms get soaked overnight. Then, there is some magic stuff in a plastic bucket.
"There is detergent in it, but it's a protein with a lot of chemicals in it," said Sam Salabura.
Salabura uses an old ball bat to mix it around. He says he'll scrub with a brush if he needs to, but the soaking does most of the work.
The protein cleaner, Lever Pro Protein Release Agent, is available online, but it is a little expensive.
