You don't have to be a coffee fan to enjoy this recipe for the award winning dessert, German Mocha Trifle.

Best Recipe Using Neighbor's Coffee
  • 1 Field's German Chocolate Pie
  • 3.4 oz. pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
  • ½ c. brewed Neighbor's Colombian Coffee, chilled
  • 1 c. Braum's milk
  • 1 (12 oz.) container whipped topping, thawed
  • ¼ tsp. coconut extract
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • ½ c. chopped pecans

Thaw Field's German Chocolate Pie in the refrigerator overnight. Chop pie into small pieces. Prepare pudding mix as directed on package except use 1 cup Braum's milk and ½ cup Neighbor's coffee. Fold in 2 cups whipped topping. In a 2 quart clear glass serving bowl, place 1/3 of the pie pieces. Cover with ½ of the whipped topping mixture. Repeat layers and top with the last 1/3 of the pie pieces. Combine remaining whipped topping and ¼ tsp coconut extract and spread over top pie layer. Sprinkle with 1 tsp. of cinnamon and ½ cup chopped pecans. Refrigerate several hours.

Serves 10 - 12
