More Work Needed On Tulsa FOP Contract

TULSA, OK -- It's back to the drawing board for Tulsa Police as they try to cut $1.7 million from their budget.

The Fraternal Order of Police voted last week to take eight furlough days instead of layoffs.  But, according to the city's attorney, part of the agreement turned out to be against overtime laws.

So on Wednesday night, Tulsa FOP members were meeting with their attorney to weigh any other options. 

The FOP is expected to take another vote on a possible new contract sometime soon.
