MIDWEST CITY, OK -- Central Oklahoma is still cleaning up from severe weather which struck the area Thursday afternoon.
Powerful summer storms swept through Thursday leaving quite a mess behind.
Central Oklahoma around Midwest City was hit the hardest.
Many people were still at work when the storms roared through Midwest City.
Nearly 4,000 Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company customers still remain without power Friday afternoon.

Businesses on Southeast 15th and Air Depot Boulevard in Midwest City were the hardest hit.
The front glass was completely blown out of a dry cleaners business. The owner says he and his family hid in a closet when the storms hit.
Just down the street, parts of the roof came off a furniture store. Customers say the storm just came out of nowhere.
"You could see trees were falling and the hail was horrible. It sounded like baseballs were hitting the car," said Markisha Fugett.
No one was seriously hurt in the storm.
