UNDATED -- A 48-year-old Duncan man was killed late Saturday night when his pickup hit a tree near Gatlin Road in Stephens County in what troopers called an alcohol-related accident.
Timothy Wayne Harvey was pinned under his truck for about 45 minutes after being ejected from the vehicle, according to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. He died at the scene.
Harvey was driving eastbound on Gatlin Road at 11:18 p.m. Saturday when his pickup left the road, hit a tree and rolled on its side.
Investigators reported that the smell of alcoholic beverage was present and that Harvey was not wearing a safety belt.
