Tulsa Police Seek Witnesses In The City's Latest Homicide

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa homicide detectives are seeking the public's help in locating anyone who may have witnessed a homicide early Saturday morning. 

Tulsa Police were dispatched to the Plantation Apartments at 5537 East 47^th Place to investigate a shooting.  When officers arrived, they found the victim, 30-year-old Pedro Sanchez, slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle.

Sanchez was taken to a Tulsa hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Sanchez's wife, who was in the vehicle at the time of the shooting, told officers they were visiting relatives in the complex when they were approached by four men all wearing black and white clothing and bandanas. 

She told police one of the men shot Sanchez in the chest as he attempted to drive away.

It was Tulsa's 37^th homicide of the year.
