Fall From Pickup In Stillwater Kills 20-Year-Old

A 20-year-old man dies from head injuries received falling from a pickup tailgate in a bar parking lot just outside Stillwater.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- A 20-year-old man died from head injuries he received after falling from a moving pickup truck in a bar parking lot just outside Stillwater.

Ted Foster, address unknown, was riding on the tailgate of a Chevy pickup in the parking lot of Tumbleweeds Bar just before 10 p.m. Foster fell off the tailgate when the truck went up a small incline, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol,

The driver, 27-year-old Toby W. Ficher of Stillwater was not injured.

Foster was first taken to a Stillwater hospital then taken by medical helicopter to OU Medical Center in critical condition. He died at what the report terms an "unknown time" today.
