OKLAHOMA CITY -- After a summer spent trying to improve their young roster, the Oklahoma City Thunder will get an early chance to see where they stack up against the NBA's best.
The NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers and fellow Finals participant Orlando Magic will both visit the Ford Center within the first two weeks of the season. The Lakers will visit Oklahoma City on Nov. 3 in the Thunder's third home game of the regular season. The Magic come to town five days later.
The Thunder also play the Eastern and Western Conference champions again on the road within the first month of the season.
Oklahoma City will open its season Oct. 28 with a home game against Sacramento but then play nine of its next 14 games on the road before a season-long five game homestand.
