TULSA, OK -- Emergency crews freed a man who was trapped underneath a car Wednesday afternoon.  Crews say he did not have a pulse when they got the car off of him.

The incident happened at about 1:45 p.m. in the 2800 block of East 1st Place.

Police say 20-year-old Taylar Packar was working under a car that was on a scissor jack when it rolled forward and landed on top of him.

After crews removed the car, they say the victim was not breathing and did not have a pulse.  Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to free him.

Crews began CPR and he was transported to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition.
