TULSA, OK -- The University of Tulsa has a new tool this year for students who are veterans.

The Albert E. Schwab Veterans Resource Lounge was opened.

It's a place for veterans to relax, study, or grab a cup of coffee or a snack, but veterans say it's a room where politics will not be off limits.

"You'll find veterans have more than just an opinion. They feel quite entitled. They have paid the ones who are still there to talk to, have lost friends and people right beside them for the things they believe in. The rights and decisions we make as a country are very personal," said Jesse French, a student and former U.S. Army Capt.

TU also has a program that covers tuition for four years for all veterans who have served 36 months or more.
