Oil Field Equipment Dumped At Tulsa Highway Exit Ramp

TULSA, OK -- Someone left a metal oil tank in the middle of an I-244 exit ramp in downtown Tulsa overnight Tuesday. 

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 10-foot by 30-foot oil tank and an oil pump jack was left sitting in the middle of the highway. 

As a result, the northbound exit ramp to U.S. Highway 75 from eastbound I-244 was closed for several hours until the items could be moved.  

Wreckers were brought in to haul the equipment away.

OHP troopers are not sure where the oil tank and pump jack came from or who they belong to.
