TULSA, OK -- A fire overnight Tuesday damaged several units of a Tulsa apartment complex near 31st and Sheridan. 

When firefighters arrived on scene, they found smoke pouring from a first floor apartment. 

The fire was quickly extinguished, but several other nearby apartments did sustain smoke damage. 

The residents of the burned apartment were checked out by an EMSA crew and will be okay. 

There is no word on what started the fire.
