OKLAHOMA CITY -- Senator Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts died Tuesday night at his home on Cape Cod after a yearlong struggle with brain cancer. He was 77.
The senator was known for his staunch liberal views, but that didn't stop him from gaining the respect from his more conservative colleagues, like Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe.
The News On 6 had a chance to talk with him Wednesday about Senator Ted Kennedy's death.
"He'll be missed because he was so incredibly dedicated to his causes, with which I do not agree. But nonetheless, he is an institution in the Senate and he will be sorely missed," said Sen. Jim Inhofe, (R) Oklahoma.
