TULSA, OK -- Two armed robberies took place at north Tulsa homes late Wednesday night.

Tulsa Police say a woman in front of her house in the 700 block of East 43rd St. was approached by four young men wearing hoods and dark clothing at about 11 p.m. Each man carried a handgun. They demanded her cell phone, and she gave it to them.

She was not injured in the incident and could not describe the robbers, police say.

In another incident, three men forced their way into an apartment in the 200 block of North Garnett.  Three men were in the apartment watching TV and went to answer the door when the armed robbers pushed their way in.

Police say one of the victims was pistol whipped but was not seriously injured, according to on scene reports.
