Motorcyclist Critically Injured In Tulsa Crash
TULSA, OK -- A Sand Springs woman is in critical condition after a motorcycle wreck on I-44 early Monday morning.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver, 46-year-old Christopher Dupuy of Tulsa, lost control of the motorcycle near the 51st Street exit around 12:30 a.m.
The motorcycle crashed into protective barrels on the ramp, throwing the female passenger, 48-year-old Donna McCallie, off the motorcycle.
OHP troopers say McCallie landed on her head. OHP troopers haven't said whether she was wearing a helmet. McCallie was taken to a Tulsa hospital.
Dupuy was not seriously hurt. He was treated and released from a Tulsa hospital and troopers took him into custody on suspicion of DUI.
