TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Community College is using music to spread a message.

"Education is so important. It rocks the world. It rocks your brain."

TCC representatives say college campuses can be overwhelming, so they hosted "Education Rocks" in Veterans Park Saturday afternoon. There were more than 30 booths from nine area colleges.

"A lot of people are getting laid off or just kinda finding their career where they don't know if it's gonna go any place and they come here and explore new careers," said Matt Jostes, event organizer.

Jostes says a lot of people think college is out of their reach, but says the music helps people relax so they can get the information they need to get started.
