Claremore Motorcyclist Critically Injured

Aaron Arms, 26, of Claremore was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa after his motorcycle collided with a pickup on a Rogers County road.

UNDATED -- A 26-year-old Claremore man was taken by medical helicopter in critical condition to St. Francis Hospital Sunday morning after a motorcycle-pickup truck collision.

Aaron Arms was driving his 2004 Kawasaki motorcycle on County Road 510, half a mile west of the intersection with County Road 416 in Rogers County. He attempted to pass two vehicles, and the lead car, turned left into a private drive, clipping Arms' rear wheel.

Arms, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported by airevac in critical condition with head and trunk injuries.

The driver in the pickup truck and his three passengers were not injured.
