TULSA, OK -- A woman and her baby were assaulted and robbed overnight Tuesday at an apartment complex in south Tulsa.

According to police reports, the robbery occurred at the Berkley Apartments at 5152 South Harvard Avenue.

Tulsa Police say a young woman approached the victim at about 1 a.m. as the victim was getting out of her car with her baby.

Police say the young woman asked to use the victim's cell phone;  they say two men then approached the victim, with one pulling a handgun and demanding money and the other spraying the victim with pepper spray.

The robbers left in what is described as an older white Chevy, possibly a Cavalier, leaving the cell phone behind.

Neither the mother nor the baby was hurt.
