OKLAHOMA CITY -- The first doses of swine flu vaccine are being ordered and should arrive in Oklahoma by early next week.

Oklahoma State Department of Health spokeswoman Leslea Bennett-Webb says the state learned Wednesday it initially has been alloted 21,100 doses of the vaccine, all in FluMist form, and that Oklahoma will request its full allotment.

Bennett-Webb says the FluMist is meant for healthy people ages 2 to 49.  She says it's likely the state will be able to order more vaccine by the end of the week but it's not yet known how many doses the state eventually might receive.

She says state health officials hope to develop a distribution plan by the end of the week. Bennett-Webb says the first doses could arrive in the state as soon as Tuesday.
