TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police investigated a pair of unrelated accidents overnight.  In one, the driver fled the scene and in the other, the driver was arrested for DUI.

First, newly installed cable barriers did their job overnight when a driver crashed on I-44 in Tulsa.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol say the driver went off I-44 near 137th East Avenue, but did not cross the median into opposite traffic.

His pickup truck went about 250 feet before coming to a stop.  Tulsa firefighters were first on the scene and saw the driver run off.  At last word, he hasn't been found.

Another traffic accident overnight destroyed a man's pickup truck.

Tulsa Police say he was headed east on 61st Street North near Utica when he missed a curve and slammed into a culvert.

The driver was not hurt, but he did go to the Tulsa County jail on a DUI complaint.
