Are H1N1 Vaccines Available In Your County?

H1N1 vaccinations began arriving in the state this week. Check to see how and when your county health department plans to distribute the vaccine.

Oklahoma: 4,100 doses
Health care workers and schools are being targeted. No specific schools have been determined.

Tulsa: 3,400 doses
The majority have gone to healthcare workers with direct patient care to high risk populations such as emergency departments, intensive care units, and pediatrics in hospitals. The hospitals will be administering it to their employees who meet the criteria throughout the week. Officials also providing vaccine to Limestone Elementary in Sand Springs on Thursday because the school has experienced a high absentee rate.

Pontotoc, Pittsburg, Atoka, Coal: 600 doses
- Pontotoc  Co. 200 doses
- Pittsburg Co. 200 doses
- Atoka Co. 100 doses
- Coal  Co. 100 doses
The vaccine is being given out Tuesday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the county health departments for school aged children pre-k through 8^th grade.

Seminole, Okfuskee, Hughes, Pottawatomie: 700 doses
Doses are being targeted at two schools with high absenteeism:
- South Rock Creek School  in Shawnee pre-K through 8^th grade from 4 to 7 p.m. October 12
- Reed Elementary in Holdenville from 4 to 7 p.m. October 13

Garfield, Grant, Custer, Woods , Alfalfa, Major, Washita: 700 doses
Officials plan to give out the doses this Thursday to school-aged children in Major County.  If there's any left, they will be distributed next Tuesday in Woods County.

Lincoln, Logan, Kingfisher, Dewey, Canadian, Blaine: 1,200 doses
- 300 doses to Yukon
- 200 doses to El Reno
- 200 doses  to  Logan Co.
- 200 doses to Lincoln Co.
- 150 doses to Kingfisher
- 150 doses to Blaine
Officials plan is to distribute the vaccines Oct. 8 and 9 to school aged children (pre-k through 12^th grade) at county health departments.

Cleveland and McClain: 1,600 doses
Doses will be distributed Wednesday and Thursday to Newcastle Schools from noon to 6 p.m.

Kay, Payne, Noble: 800 doses
- Kay Co. 300 doses
- Payne Co. 400 doses
- Noble 100 doses
In Kay County, the vaccine is being given out to school aged children at the health department beginning Tuesday. Friday in Payne County, it will be given out at the health department between 8am-6pm. In Noble County, it will be given out at the health department on Oct. 14^th.

 Murray, Garvin, Grady, Stephens: 700 doses
Officials plan to target Pre-K through 12^th grade.  They are talking with two schools and hope to distribute the vaccine early next week.

Marshall, Pushmataha, Bryan, McCurtain, Choctaw: 600
Kingston Schools will receive the vaccine on Thursday.

Latimer, LeFlore, Okmulgee, McIntosh, Haskell: 700
Officials are watching schools for absenteeism to determine where to go in with vaccine.  No school had been selected yet as of Tuesday afternoon.

Delaware, Craig, Ottawa: 500 doses
Officials are checking with schools on absenteeism.  No school had been selected yet as of Tuesday afternoon.

Sequoyah and Muskogee: 600 doses
On Thursday, the School for the Blind will receive the vaccinations as well as Haskell Public Schools.

Rogers, Washington, Osage, Nowata: 1,000
Dewey Public Schools will receive the vaccinations on Thursday.

Jefferson, Johnston, Carter, Love: 400 doses
The elementary school in the Tishomingo Public School district will receive the doses.

Beaver, Harper, Texas, Woodward, Ellis, Cimarron: 300 doses
Buffalo Public Schools will receive the vaccinations on Friday.

Wagoner, Creek , Pawnee: 900 doses
Officials are contacting schools with high rates of absenteeism to see if parents are interested.   No dates were set as to Tuesday afternoon.

Comanche, Caddo, Kiowa, Cotton: 1,000 doses
Elgin school district will receive the vaccinations tomorrow.

Beckham, Jackson, Tillman, Harmon, Greer, and Roger Mills: 400 doses
Vaccines will be distributed to a Jackson County school.

Adair, Cherokee, and Mayes counties: 600 doses
Still working on which school will receive the vaccines.
