TULSA, OK -- A shooting Sunday night sends one man to a Tulsa hospital. The shooting happened at about 7:30 p.m. at a detention pond parking lot at 11600 East 14th Street.

Tulsa Police say an unidentified suspect opened fire on a car with two adults and a child inside.  One of the adults was shot and the other adult drove the car to a nearby Motel 6 for help.

The victim, 36-year-old Clifford Dotson was shot in the neck, according to police. At last report, he was listed in serious condition.  

The woman, who was driving the car, and a child in the car were not hurt.

Police say the victim was involved in a drug transaction when the shooting took place. 

Officers are still searching for the shooter, who fled the scene on a BMX bicycle.
