TULSA, OK -- A weather system moving across Oklahoma Thursday morning produced a line of severe storms prompting several severe thunderstorms warnings and watches.
The storms produced heavy rains, strong winds and lightning as they moved east into Arkansas and Missouri.
Those heavy rains, dumped almost 2 inches of rain, caused some street flooding across the Tulsa area. Some low-lying locations were blocked off until the water receded.
The Tulsa Fire Department was called out several times Thursday morning to check out reports of vehicles stranded in high water.
