TULSA, OK -- An investigation continues Wednesday into the discovery of pipe bombs and the remnants of a meth lab in one Tulsa County home late Tuesday.

It all started to unfold at about 7 p.m. Tuesday after a tip came into the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office

Originally, sheriff's deputies thought there was a pair of pipe bombs at that home in the 5900 block of North Lewis, but now they know 8 pipe bombs were inside home. As they were moving one, it exploded.

No one was injured in the explosion.

Nearby homes were evacuated and a portion of North Lewis was closed to traffic.

The Tulsa Police Bomb Squad was called in and had to use its robot to neutralize the devices.

The home is a rental property and sheriff's deputies say the owner of the property knows very little.

"He didn't have any clue. He's been very cooperative from the beginning of the investigation, like I said he's the property owner, he had it rented and didn't know anything else," said Tulsa County Sheriff's Office Captain Mike Bass.

Sheriff deputies say two people have been detained and are being questioned.

No arrests have been made at this time, while sheriff's office investigators and ATF agents are still try to figure out who is responsible for both the pipe bombs and the meth lab.
