Gravel Truck Spills Load In North Tulsa

A semi-truck driver received apparently minor injuries after his truck turned over in north Tulsa.

TULSA, OK -- A semi-truck driver received apparently minor injuries after his truck turned over in north Tulsa. The accident happened at about 2:40 p.m. when the driver was exiting U.S. Highway 169 onto 56th Street North.

A firefighter on the scene said the truck's load shifted as the vehicle took the exit ramp, and the shift caused the semi to overturn. Gravel covered the roadway.

Both Tulsa and Owasso emergency personnel responded to the accident.
