North Carolina Teen Jailed For Locust Grove Hostage Situation

LOCUST GROVE, OK -- A North Carolina teenager is in jail accused of holding a Green Country motel clerk hostage.

It happened early Tuesday morning at the Best Western in Locust Grove.

Police went to the hotel after getting a silent alarm. Police said upon arrival they discovered 19-year-old Christian Musteen was holding the night clerk hostage at gunpoint.

Officers say Musteen released the clerk after about an hour, then threatened to kill himself.

After two more hours of negotiations, Pryor's special operations team was able to take Musteen into custody.
