TULSA, OK – Police have found the suspect vehicle in Tulsa's latest homicide. They are still searching for the suspects after a man was shot in the head shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday at 1030 North Troost.

The suspect vehicle was discovered at about 9 a.m. Sunday morning at 3200 North Jamestown.

The homicide is under investigation, but officers believe the shooting happened after a dispute among those who lived at 1030 North Troost and another house nearby, according to Captain Karen Tipler with the Tulsa Police Department.

Tipler said officers believe two people in a dark blue or black Chevy Avalanche drove to the home at North Troost, believing someone there had vandalized their home. One suspect then shot the victim. The suspects then drove away northbound on Troost.

When officers arrived, the suspects were gone and the victim was on the ground in the front yard, according to Tipler.

Police say there were several witnesses home at the time of the shooting.

Investigators are still searching for the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
