TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police are investigating the armed robbery of a delivery driver at 36th and Memorial Tuesday morning. Police say it may be connected to another robbery overnight.
Shortly before 6 a.m., two men robbed the driver of a Superior Linen Service truck behind the Five and Diner restaurant. Police say the robbers were wearing bandanas over their faces and one was carrying a sawed-off shotgun.
Tulsa Police dogs found some bandanas and loot from the truck in a nearby neighborhood.
Officers also arrested a man walking in the area on outstanding warrants. No word on whether or not he's a suspect in the robbery.
Tulsa Police believe this may be connected to another robbery that happened at 11 p.m. Monday at the Quick Mart in the 11900 block of East Admiral.
Police tell The News On 6 the robber in that crime wore a teal green hooded jacket, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a red bandana covering his face. He was also armed with a sawed-off shotgun.
Anyone with information about these two robberies are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
